Welcome to Chelmsford Banners. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please read them carefully.

1. Accepted File Formats

To ensure a seamless process and optimal results, we accept artwork in the following formats:

PDF, PSD, AI, PNG, EPS, CDR, TIFF, and JPEG

• Files should maintain a minimum resolution of 300 DPI for clarity.

• Include a 2-inch bleed on all edges to avoid unwanted cropping during finishing.

2. Artwork & Proofing Process

Upon submission of your artwork:

• We will review and prepare your file for printing.

• Pantone colours are not supported; all designs are converted to CMYK, which might cause slight shade differences.

• A digital proof will be sent for approval if the file is not already print-ready.

• You are responsible for verifying spelling, layout, and colours before approval.

• Email approval is required before we begin production.

• Approvals confirmed after 1:00 PM may shift production to the next business day.

Minor colour variations (usually within 10–15%) may occur due to differences in screen calibration and printing processes.

3. Product Standards & Finishing Notes

We specialise in large-format prints designed for viewing from 2 metres or more rather than close inspection.

• Size tolerance: small deviations of approximately 2–5 cm are expected.

• Banners under 10 feet in height are produced as a single piece.

• Larger banners may feature professionally aligned joins to ensure design continuity.

• A hemming fee applies to banners under 60 sq. ft.

4. Shipping & Packaging Guidelines

Turnaround times commence after artwork approval, not payment.

• Standard dispatch is generally within 5–6 working days.

• Items larger than 110 cm x 110 cm may be folded for shipping. Light creases or slight discolouration from folding are not defects.

• If desired, select the “Rolled on Tube” option at checkout to avoid folding (an additional fee may apply).

• Delivery estimates, including express choices, are provided during checkout.

5. Express Services

For urgent needs, priority production is available:

• Same-day

• 24-hour

• 48-hour

• 72-hour service (depending on availability and artwork complexity)

Express jobs require approval by 1:00 PM. Late approvals may incur a 50% express surcharge to meet timelines.

6. Returns & Refunds Policy

As our products are custom-made, returns are accepted only in these circumstances:

• Print defects

• Incorrect size that does not align with approved specifications

• Missing finishing elements (e.g., eyelets or pole pockets)

What You Need to Do:

• Report any issues within 24 hours of delivery.

• Include your order number and photos taken from 2 metres away clearly showing the issue.

Important Notes:

• Do not accept parcels with visibly damaged packaging to retain eligibility for transit-related claims.

• If a return is approved, return shipping is your responsibility.

• Delivery charges are non-refundable except in cases of confirmed errors or defects.

• Claims made outside the 24-hour window or issues from customer-approved artwork (e.g., spelling errors) are not eligible.

7. Fraud Protection & Order Validation

All items are weighed and photographed before dispatch.

Submitting false refund or chargeback claims may lead to legal action and recovery of related costs. We take fraud seriously.

8. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

All designs, layouts, and promotional materials created by Chelmsford Banners remain our intellectual property.

With your consent, we may use finished products or designs for marketing on our website, social media, or other platforms.

If a refund is processed after artwork approval, a 50% design fee may be retained to cover production time and studio costs.

9. Liability & Disputes

Our total liability is limited to the value of the order. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.

Disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of the courts in Essex, in accordance with British law.

10. Pricing & Validity

Prices are subject to change without notice. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.

11. Privacy & Communications

12. Phone & SMS Consent

13. Final Terms

These terms represent the entire agreement between you and Chelmsford Banners. Any amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties.
